In June of 2026 I visited Sardinia for an artist residency to research the local wool. Sardinian sheep are an ancient breed and continue to play an essential role in the island’s culture. Using 100% Sardinian wool, raw fleeces collected from a shearing festival at Sinnos Formaggi (an artisan micro-dairy on the island) and carded wool from the local mill, I created a series of work uncovering the language of this material and place. A few special pieces came home with and the rest are available at Labo Bosa.
